Undercut Collective was started in 2014 by Saskia Bakker. Frustrated that she was unable to get into any local shows due to being 13 at the time, Saskia set out to create an organization specifically oriented toward teens. Undercut’s main goal is to create shows that are accessible and comfortable environments for teens, following her belief that live music should be for everyone and not burdened with “19+” signs. Here at Undercut Collective, we strive to integrate teens into the Champaign-Urbana music scene and create exciting shows for everyone to enjoy.
